ClueX — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ClueX mobile application (“ClueX”, “App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using ClueX, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. About ClueX

ClueX is a fictional detective and mystery game created for entertainment purposes.

The App allows users to:

  • Investigate fictional mystery cases
  • Explore simulated phone environments
  • Examine fictional messages and photos
  • Discover clues
  • Review evidence
  • Answer investigation questions
  • Make deductions
  • Solve mystery cases
  • Earn XP
  • Progress through detective ranks
  • Use optional hints or other game features
  • Purchase optional digital game content where available

All gameplay features may change, be updated, added, or removed over time.

2. No Account Required

ClueX does not currently require users to create an account or log in to use the core gameplay.

You are not required to provide a name, email address, password, phone number, Google account, or social-media account to play ClueX.

Some technical services used by ClueX, such as Firebase and RevenueCat, may process technical, gameplay, purchase, or anonymous/pseudonymous identifiers as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Fictional and Simulated Content

ClueX contains fictional and simulated content created specifically for gameplay.

This may include:

  • Fictional characters
  • Fictional names
  • Simulated phone screens
  • Fictional messages
  • Fictional photos
  • Fictional notes
  • Fictional contacts
  • Fictional maps
  • Fictional social-media-style content
  • Fictional locations
  • Fictional evidence
  • Fictional case histories

Such content is intended solely as part of the game's fictional investigation experience.

ClueX does not provide access to private information from real people's devices.

The appearance of messages, photos, contacts, social-media-style interfaces, or other digital content inside ClueX does not mean that ClueX can access the equivalent information on your real device.

4. Entertainment Purpose

ClueX is an entertainment product.

The cases, evidence, characters, clues, stories, deductions, and other information presented in the App should not be considered real-world investigative evidence, professional investigative advice, legal advice, or factual information about real individuals.

Users should not rely on fictional gameplay content for real-world decisions.

5. Eligibility

You may use ClueX only if you are legally permitted to use the App under the laws applicable to you.

If you are a minor, you should use ClueX only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

6. Your Use of ClueX

You agree to use ClueX only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not use the App to:

  • Violate applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to access unauthorized systems
  • Interfere with the operation of ClueX
  • Attack or disrupt our servers or infrastructure
  • Circumvent security measures
  • Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities
  • Manipulate XP, rankings, rewards, or purchases
  • Use bots or automated systems to manipulate gameplay
  • Reverse engineer or modify the App except where permitted by applicable law
  • Distribute modified or unauthorized versions of ClueX
  • Use the App to harass, threaten, defame, or harm another person

7. Game Progress and XP

ClueX may provide XP, detective ranks, achievements, hints, rewards, and other virtual game elements.

These virtual elements:

  • Are provided only for use within ClueX.
  • Have no cash or monetary value.
  • Cannot normally be exchanged for real money.
  • Are not financial assets.
  • Cannot normally be transferred or sold to another person.
  • Do not represent ownership of any real-world property.

We may change XP values, rank requirements, rewards, case difficulty, or other game mechanics when reasonably necessary to maintain game balance, security, or functionality.

8. In-App Purchases

ClueX may offer optional in-app purchases.

These may include:

  • XP
  • Hints
  • Digital game content
  • Premium features
  • Other virtual items
  • Subscriptions, if offered in the future

Purchases made through Google Play are processed through Google Play's billing system.

RevenueCat may be used to manage and verify purchase entitlements and purchase-related information.

The price and applicable terms of an item will be displayed before the purchase is completed.

9. Payments and Refunds

ClueX does not directly process or store your complete credit-card or debit-card information for Google Play purchases.

Payments are processed through the applicable app-store payment platform.

Refunds, cancellations, and payment-related matters may be subject to Google Play's applicable policies and procedures.

Where required, you should submit refund requests through the applicable Google Play process.

10. RevenueCat

ClueX may use RevenueCat to help manage and verify in-app purchases and digital entitlements.

RevenueCat may process information associated with purchases, such as:

  • Product identifiers
  • Purchase status
  • Transaction information
  • Entitlement status
  • Purchase history
  • Anonymous or pseudonymous application identifiers

RevenueCat is not used to provide access to your real private phone content.

11. Firebase

ClueX may use Google Firebase services for technical functionality such as analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, or other services enabled within the App.

Firebase may process technical or usage-related information as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree that such processing may occur as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve ClueX.

12. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property associated with ClueX, including but not limited to:

  • ClueX name
  • ClueX logo
  • App design
  • User interface
  • Graphics
  • Illustrations
  • Characters
  • Case stories
  • Text
  • Game content
  • Software
  • Original artwork
  • Animations
  • Audio
  • Game mechanics and presentation

is owned by or licensed to ClueX / [Developer or Company Name], unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, license, publish, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without appropriate authorization.

13. Third-Party Trademarks

ClueX may contain fictional interfaces or references designed for gameplay.

Any third-party trademarks, names, logos, or other intellectual property that may appear in the App belong to their respective owners.

Unless expressly stated, their appearance does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with ClueX.

14. App Updates

We may release updates, patches, improvements, bug fixes, security updates, or changes to ClueX from time to time.

You may need to install updates to continue using certain features.

We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue particular features where reasonably necessary.

15. Availability of the App

We aim to keep ClueX available and functional, but we do not guarantee that:

  • The App will always be available.
  • The App will always operate without interruption.
  • All features will always remain available.
  • The App will be completely free of bugs.
  • Game progress will never be lost.
  • Servers or third-party services will never experience downtime.

Third-party services may also experience interruptions outside our control.

16. Game Progress

Because ClueX does not currently require an account, some game progress or settings may be stored locally on your device.

You understand that game progress may be lost if you:

  • Uninstall the App
  • Clear the App's data
  • Reset your device
  • Change devices
  • Lose access to locally stored App data
  • Encounter a technical problem

We do not guarantee permanent preservation of locally stored game progress.

17. Privacy

Your use of ClueX is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, processed, stored, and shared through ClueX, Firebase, RevenueCat, Google Play, and other applicable services.

If you have questions, encounter a technical problem, or need assistance with ClueX, you may contact us at:

When contacting support, you should avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is reasonably necessary to resolve your request.

19. Suspension or Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to ClueX if we reasonably believe that you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Attempt to exploit the App
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Manipulate purchases or virtual items
  • Attack or compromise the App
  • Use ClueX for unlawful purposes
  • Interfere with other users' experience

We may also discontinue ClueX or particular features at any time where reasonably necessary.

20. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClueX is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that the App will:

  • Meet every user's expectations
  • Be uninterrupted
  • Be completely error-free
  • Be permanently available
  • Preserve all game progress
  • Remain unchanged

ClueX is intended for entertainment purposes only.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClueX and its developers, owners, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

22. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClueX, its developers, owners, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your misuse of the App
  • Your violation of applicable laws
  • Your infringement of another person's rights

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the 21-09-2026 date at the top of this document.

Your continued use of ClueX after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

24. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the applicable laws of india, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that provides mandatory legal rights, nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or limit those rights.
